The Castle of Sant Julià de Ramis, located in the mountains of Sants Metges, is an ancient military fortification from the late 19th century, whose history intertwines with the deepest roots of the region. Built next to the ancient Iberian settlement of Kerunta, it is said that this place was the inspiration for the foundation of Gerunda by the Romans two thousand years ago. Its historical importance is undeniable, and many consider it the possible origin of the city of Girona.
This Castle, impregnated by the solidity of its stones, now becomes a temple of new explorations. It is from this enclave that a bold yearning is launched to move forward and face the new challenges of growth. It is here that the Roca brothers put down roots, turning the castle into the catalyst for their latest project, transforming it into a laboratory of ideas, history and experiences.
