How can I book a table at the Esperit Roca restaurant?

Reservations must be made through our website. Reservations are accepted up to 90 days in advance, and requests beyond this limit will not be processed. Our online reservation system allows you to check availability and make bookings. If the restaurant is fully booked on your desired date, you can add your request to the corresponding waiting list. All reservations are automatically confirmed via email. If you do not receive the confirmation, please contact us at: restaurant@esperitroca.com. Is it necessary to pay in advance?

No advance payment is required. However, you must provide a credit card as a guarantee when making the reservation through a secure platform. This operation must be validated through your bank’s app.

Can the menus be adapted for allergies and/or food intolerances?

Yes, we can adapt the menus to accommodate allergies or food intolerances. We kindly ask that you inform us in advance of any allergies or specific dietary needs so we can offer alternative dishes.

Is it necessary to confirm the reservation again?

Yes, we kindly ask that you confirm your reservation 5 days in advance by email. This confirmation email is automatic. A few days before your reservation, you will receive an email where you can click to confirm or cancel your reservation.

How does the waiting list system work?

The online reservation system allows you to add your details to the waiting list for the day(s) you are interested in. If a cancellation occurs for the selected date(s), we will reach out to you. Please note that to manage the waiting list properly, it is not generic, and each day has its own list. Therefore, you can join as many days as you like.

Can I request a change of date, change the number of guests, or cancel the reservation?

Changes in date will be subject to availability at the restaurant. If no dates are available, you will need to cancel the reservation and join the waiting list. Reducing the number of guests significantly will result in the cancellation of the reservation if there are no available tables for the new number of people. Increasing the number of guests will depend on the restaurant’s availability. The reservation can be fully canceled without charge up to 5 days before the date. Cancellations made less than 5 days in advance will incur a fee of 50 euros per person, which will be charged to the provided credit card.

What menus do we offer?

At Restaurant Esperit Roca, we offer two menus: the Menú Espíritu Salado (with appetizers, 6 main courses, and 2 desserts) and the Menú Espíritu Dulce (with appetizers, 2 main courses, and 6 desserts). We also offer an à la carte option. You can consult our menus in the restaurant section of this website. Both menus have the option of wine pairing selected by Josep Roca.

Is the restaurant linked to the hotel?

No, the restaurant and the hotel are not in the same space, although both are located in the Castell de Sant Julià de Ramis. The restaurant is on the first floor of the castle, and the hotel is on the upper floor. Both are clearly marked once you arrive at the Castell de Sant Julià de Ramis.

Is there a dress code?

We offer a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere in our restaurant to enjoy the gastronomic experience, and no specific dress code is required. However, we recommend a formal dress code.

Is there parking?

Yes, we have our own parking lot in front of the restaurant.

How do gift vouchers work?

Gift vouchers are available for both the restaurant and Hotel Esperit Roca. You can find all the information in the GIFT section of this website. When purchasing a gift voucher, only available through our website, you will receive a voucher via email that can be sent to the recipient. During the purchase process, you will be asked to specify whether the voucher is for yourself or someone else. If it is for someone else, you will need to provide the recipient’s name. For any questions or inquiries, you can contact us at hotel@esperitroca.com. If the gift voucher includes a night at Hotel Esperit Roca, the reservation must be made via email at hotel@esperitroca.com, indicating the voucher code. For combined hotel and restaurant vouchers, please remember that restaurant reservations are accepted up to 90 days in advance and must be made through the website. If the gift voucher includes only a meal at the restaurant, reservations should be made directly on our website, entering the voucher code in the indicated field. The recipient may make the reservation to enjoy the experience within 6 months of the voucher’s issue date.

Can I visit the wine cellar and the CCR exhibition?

Yes, both the wine cellar and the exhibition are accessible to all restaurant guests or hotel guests. To complement the experience, our team will guide you through the exhibition and wine cellar.

How can I book a room at Hotel Esperit Roca?

Reservations are managed through the booking system on our website: www.hotelesperitroca.com. All reservations are automatically confirmed by email. Yes, the room rate includes a buffet breakfast.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is available from 3:00 PM, and check-out is by 12:00 PM (noon).

Castell de Sant Julià has two restaurants with differentiated and complementary gastronomic proposals:

No, you do not need to be a hotel guest to make a reservation at either the Lounge Bar or the Restaurant Esperit Roca.

Do I need to make a reservation if I want to come in the afternoon or mid-morning for an aperitif, a drink, or a cocktail?

Hotel Esperit Roca offers a selection of cocktails made with products from our distillery, as well as wines, cavas, and champagnes, accompanied by snacks, in the lobby and terrace. No reservation is necessary.

Is there a dress code?

We provide a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere so you can feel at home.

Do you have parking?


Yes, we have our own parking.

Are there smoking areas?

Smoking is permitted on the outdoor terrace next to the hotel lobby. Smoking is not allowed in other areas, including the pool.

Can I visit the wine cellar and CCR exhibition?

Yes, visits are available to both hotel guests and restaurant diners.

Does the hotel have a spa and treatment room?

Yes, the hotel has a treatment cabin with Natura Bissé products, as well as a heated outdoor jacuzzi, dry sauna, hammam, solarium, hot stone benches, and a sensation shower. You can consult the prices on our website.

Is there a fitness area?

Yes, the gym features a climbing wall, rowing machines, stationary bikes, a treadmill, a free weights area, and multifunctional machines. It is only accessible to hotel guests.

Can I book the wellness and spa without staying at the hotel?

Yes, you can book treatments or access the wellness circuit even if you’re not staying at the hotel. Reservations must be made in advance.

What is the nearest airport?

We are 30 minutes from Girona Airport and 90 minutes from Barcelona Airport. The hotel offers a 24-hour helistop.

Do you offer transfer services?

Yes, we can provide private transfer services upon request.
